A comment on article at Nytimes on title, "

Company Accused of Firing Over Facebook Post"...

This is not good that company or any industry has rights to "look into" their employee’s social media pages.
I do not know what the law is but the law has to be reinstated. No employer should be allowed to judge their employees on what they think about them. Moreover, they should rather put a "complaint box" or tool in their organization so that anyone can "drop in" their feedback and disuses that issue further. If that is done, then it will not only help the industry but also it might just improve the relationship between various stakeholders.
The only way to solve humanly problem is by understanding the magnitude of a problem. It is nowhere now an age of Big Brother but Collaborative Brothers. Welcome to this new world.

Anonymity on the Internet

Dear all,

After doing my own self marketing for the book, I am back to give my insights on this issue.

Good question especially for Researchers on the field of the Internet. (They are still working on this issue..., Sorry for the delay and Please Wait...)

Being Anonymous has many setbacks together with upbrining your either brightside or darkside or whatever you may want to call it...

Every individual is unique. See for example the faces, character and behaviors. We are different in religion, caste, creed and these attributes but we should not forget we are branches of the same common tree called, "Human beings".

Naming is done for identifiation either you like it or not. Liking is based on personal experience and attributes of the person.

When some of us might disagree that, We are having darker side of our own self, some might see the darker side as bright side too.

As God is unknown so is "somebody" who resides in all of us.

It is true that one should stand up and show their true identity and must hold accountable of their deeds, it is also true that some people do not want such identity to come out.

Can we answer where is God? Or, Who is God and what was his name? We can say for example Jesus is Our only God or Allah is Only our God or ... but why don't God himself has a real name?

God is God and Humans are Humans, He is inside all of us and we are inside him too.

In general, we need to identify people because that identifation will give values to his ideas, insights, critics and he/she is accontable for their deeds. (They must be accontable)

Fear is one issue but this is not the real issue.

Let me give one scenarios,

There are three people let us suppose: A, B and C

They all committed a sin such as killing Mr. P.

How do you identify who is the culprit? Should we say, All of the three were culprits or criminals when they all do not speak the TRUTH.

Therefore, Those who dare to speak the truth always should accept the truth. Those who do not dare to speak the TRUTH are scared to accept it.

Being Anonymous also is based on Experiences that we encounter in our lives. (While I was reading Paulo Coelho Blog Readers or Comments above) Some of us has said,

-I am business personel
-I hate to disclose my true identity simply because I might be contacted or communicated and so on...

Therefore, those who do not want to disclose their true identiy, it is OK but for those who do wrongdoings hiding behind the walls they are not doing good.

-You are first not being true to yourself
-You do not want to accept what others has to say
-You value your own judgement and do not care
-You had very bad experience

And So on...

A single human life is worth living with true identity attached to it.

Remember, The concept of dualism always resides in all of us. We feel sometime good and the very next time we might feel bad. We are just humans nothing else. We do our work, we enjoy what we do and sometimes we hate what we do not like to share, care, show or fear.

Techonlogically speaking,

There is one drawback in User Registration which we use in the Internet. The main drawback is we have got loads of updates in Operating System but where are the updates in User Registration System. We are using the same traditional system of Registration.

Username: .......
Passoword: .......

With this System, We cannot identify who the person really is and what are his motives or opinion. Here is one million dollar idea-

-Develop such a system where User will not be aware of his/own registration.
-You can track the identity of the User but User is unaware of his/her entrance on any Content Management Systems.

But Wait a Minute, (Well, I see some of you are looking me with strange eyes)

-There is some privacy issues here we need to deal with.
-When we talk about the personal privacy this new system might not work then.


We have in us two sides. Let us say for now,
-Bright side (Good side, God side, Hero side, ..)
-Dark side (Bad side, Devil side, Villian side, Pirate side,...)

To raise either of these sides are our own duty. We may raise our brigt side being truthful, accountable and transparent. Or, We may raise our dark side being untruthful, irresponsible, and non-transparent.

Did you realize one open question in the above paragraph?
-What is our duty?

I am human, I want to raise either my bright side or dark side. This is my responsibility nobody's else.

When you will raise you bright side, you will end up being brighter but when you will raise your dark side, you might end up being less at shight.

Therefore, My dear humans Please try to understand the words of wisedom.

We always hate when our father, fore-father and gradfather tell us to do this, or that simply because we think they do not think what we are currently thinking. But that is not the truth, the truth is they have passed their entire lives being what we are at this current time.

You can always disagree with me, I accept. I will kneel down and bow my head and will say you sorry if I did something wrong. Because, deeper inside me, I see the power of "Truth".

There should be "Freedom of Speech and Expression" given to all of us because that is our birthrights. Still in some countries it is not visible.

Technologically, there are some programs which could be used to track the user's identity.

There are some services, which can also be used for anonymizing services such as I2P or Tor for tweaking the IP address of the User but it can also be found out easily.

Remember, you cannot get away by doing the wrongdoings.

There is also a good side to it,

For example when Scientist review the research paper they send the for peer review where the author of paper is not disclosed. Those peer reviewers are also not disclosed.

Sometimes being identified could result into death and sometimes being identified could result into fate.

It always depend on the way we think.

There were plenty of ideas still in my head and I must stop it writing here for free... (Just Kidding)

Now, I think I should do more research on this issue and once I finalize and come to the conclusion of how we can reduce Anonymity I will get back to you.

You can agree or disagree it does not make any difference to what I think simply because, I accept whatever comes in my life. (Good or Bad)

Free Content

Free Content is the biggest question now a days. As I have read the previous comments in your blog it appears to my knowledge that, there are multiple views on free contents.

Some of the authors have pointed out that, free content is good and some says, it is bad. Some has a great idea on how technology has transferred over the period of time.

The matter of choice should be given to humans and only humans alone. The choice of either using the computer and reading the content for free or visiting the book store and buying a book is different all together.

As a author, only thing that comes in your mind is you have a very good idea and this has to come out in public. People should be aware of what is going around and what is happening around the world also how your idea is really related and how you can benefit from your “best ideas”. At the point of writing you are not thinking about marketing or collecting big revenues or even dreaming to win a Nobel Prize for your work.

The path that I am traveling has been traveled by somebody else. There are millions and billions of humans in the world. Those who are currently alive and those who are no longer. Whatever I am doing has been done already. I am constantly thinking that I am doing something new but I also have to realize that what “I” as the person am doing has already been done or is being done somewhere in some part of the world.

Well, Although technology in every day life cannot be ignored and one has to benefit from the usage of the technology. It is always a good idea to use the technology and benefit from the advantage of it. After all this is for us.

The generation that are is evolving is most of the times posting the content on the internet- let us say for example “technorati” where there are millions of contents posted every day.These blog posts and articles have thousand of great ideas but how are they really making any point? Will they really reach to the right people at right time?

To have a greater impact and greater socialization of “your ideas” it has to be used efficiently, in a proper manner.

We do not know how to make benefit or money from our work but, “Giving is the best thing we know as the writer.”

It is good idea to deliver the content for free but at the same time it is bad idea to really give everything for free.

Well, I do not agree that “beauty is free”. Beauty cannot be free simply because it is in the nature. Simplicity of the beauty is free but beauty does not lies in being free. Let me give you one example.

Let us say, you see the flower. You see this flower which is red and your personal favorite color is also red but some how you have a color blindness and you cannot see the color red. One of your very best friends come near to you and she says, Wow what a beautiful color and flower. You cannot see the particular flower but you still admire with the beauty.

Imagine now you do not have color blindness and you can see the flower. In this situation, you will see the red flower, you appreciate the beauty of that flower but you cannot have it. It is not free. It has its own life. It is an object which lives on its own. The life cycle of this beautiful red flower is with the Nature.

Similar analogy holds true with the “free content”. The content and ideas are just floating around us all the time. The matter of choice for picking up “whose” idea could be trusted depends upon the humans all around the world.

Selection should be given to people either to use free or not. However, free does not makes the content valuable and not free does not make ideas famous.

The Internet Way of Death

Last couple of weeks ago, some guy committed suicide on the Internet and some other people forced him to do so. There are many reviews from the experts on this issue. I think,These are all well known facts. We know that people have misbehaved on the Internet. They have shown the character of animals and they also have force others to do wrong.

But do not yet reach to the conclusion- "We always wanted this, don't we?". We wanted to change the way we live. We are in the world where decisions are being made on the machine, we do not get together off line often, we do not meet off line often.

Sorry I used the word "we". But why?, The only answer that comes with all those around is that- "It saves time".

We are moving at rapid pace with both of our eyes looking for more and more adventure. We want to achieve something in this world. When we want to achieve something then there are two ways-

1. Technological revolution.

2. Infrastructure development, Economy boom and Great Intellectual or Artificial Mind production.

We already have are very good at Number 1. Concerning Number 2, we are working it seems. (That is really good too.)


Now, Comes the important aspect- Let me give you one analogy,

What happens to a Mr. X who runs very fast in the crowded streets ?

- What are the chances that he will catch the train?

- What if he dies?

- What if he is successful ?

- What if he hurts some one around when he is running with lightning speed?

- What if he does not care?

He has very fast technology tools with him- like Wireless GPS System, He also has Nokia Maps, He has many more advance technology tools and he is using them too. Since his focus is to run in fast speed without caring anyone.

In the process he can hurt someone, isn't it ?

Anyways, I have to stop it now. The same things holds true when some one is using the content. The man wants to show that he is the best, he is capable of doing what he can, he can write something and hurt others feelings. For all this to control-

As one guy Pointed out, "how brain works, how mind works" these phenomenon becomes essential.

Anyways, Many Scientist has spend their lives understanding "ants, bees and Chimpanzee". I wonder where are the people who can some day understand "humans". It is good practice to start now. :)

Your Opinion On : How can social communities prevent cyber-bullying?

OK, Here I go-

(First)

I have been working lately on this topic. My research paper could be found from the following link. (If you are interested on technical details together with the social aspects of using the Internet)

I read the post written by many authors in above, Every body argues on how can the child be bought up with security and should get enough privacy.

Well, I think to some extent yes, we need to have the proper mechanism to control the content on the Internet. As we can see every day number of user accessing the online content is increasing at very rapid pace.

Till date there are 50 Countries which has the access to the Internet, according to World Fact Book. It is increasing daily and sooner or later, there will be all the countries in the world which will have access to the Internet technology.

It is a good thing not to consider the Internet as having bad effect because it is not about the technology as such, but it is all about the content available on the Internet.

There are many different kinds of humans around the globe. Some are very hard and some are very soft. Those who are hard hearted do not care about anything that comes and goes in life. But those who are soft hearted cares a lot about even a minor things in the life.

I believe that, "Women are made for multitasking" and "Men are made for "single tasking". If you see for example any women, you will easily figure out that- they perform more than one task at the same time. But we men cannot some how do more than one task at the same time.

When you are doing more than one task at the same time, there is a chance of having psychological problems. These psychological problems are not caused by the task itself but with the amount of information that flows between the task and the person involved.

There is also another way of looking at this issue. If we go more deeper in to this issue, then first of all we must understand how brain works. If we can understand how brain works then our job would be to understand how behavior is triggered ? Since till date, there is no good theory on brain or behavior. We cannot generalize the fact that "this particular thing caused this".

What I mean to say is that, when you are using the Internet you cannot say that it is because of the Internet, you have been suffering from the psychological problems.

The best solution of understanding the behavior is to have a control over own behavior. Is it possible ? If you ask me- I would say, Yes. It is very much possible to control owns behavior. There are many ways but the simplest way is to control your daily emotions. The best approach would be to use- "Punk approach". In this approach you have to understand these key functionalities.

1. You are born, you will die one day. (So will every one else !)
2. Whatever I am doing is good.
3. "Who cares !"
4. I know who I am.
5. I can control my mind.

In The punk approach the most important is (3). The statement with the quotes- "who cares". If you can understand this phenomenon, then no one is going to commit suicide on the Internet.

Therefore, It is very important to understand what goes in the mind of human and how can behavior is triggered. What makes them unhappy ? What are the major types of anxiety felt by an individual. One good web pages which can predict the behavior of humans is by Dr. Kimberly Yong. She has been doing loads of research on this issue.

Mary Jander suggests that, "Cultural reticence or public affect doesn't translate into private Internet addiction." Therefore, Internet addiction is a growing trend in many countries now a days.

Social or Not social only time will tell when people will feel more types of anxiety of using the Internet technology later in future.

Soon I will not have any job and the horoscope say's something like this--

"Companies have really started to develop a social conscience about social or humanitarian issues. And you are well of this trend in the business world. In fact, you even applaud it. If you were at the head of a large company, you may realize just how important your employees think this is. Why don't you try to get this kind of thing going where you work, at your own level? "

This is really funny ! But Can I laugh with happiness or should I laugh with sorrow ?
Many people do not realize the fact that, life is not difficult but it is easy ! Why and how differs based on your own personal vision and actualization of the reality.

By the end of this year, It can be seen that loads of companies are laying off the people. Why ? Where are we heading ? Who is to blame for all this ? Is it the economy which is going really down or is it the power of machine which does all the work ? What is it that is not giving any opportunity to the people now ?

Why are the world becoming more stressful ? Is there some giant machine working on behalf of the many more humans who are loosing the jobs ? What is the shape and size of this machine called ? Should it be called as "Internet" ?

More than billions of the web pages are accessed daily, more than millions of software are downloaded and uploaded daily, more than zillions of information are written and copied daily. Now, why do those who need information should search people any more ? Now, If you are free and do not have anything to do- just log on to your system and open your Internet connection !

Do what you wish to do ! Watch Porno, or chat with friends and family or simply use the cheap phone service can call them or rather, upload the pictures, videos and do anything you wish to do.

Google has helped people a lot in searching the content. Thanks to them, But they also take loads of information about you, every time you visit there web pages ! (So, be cautious)

There are two approach to do the things we really do, which is-

1. Do as you desire and just be like a kid who does not edit his work. The kid goes and does whatever he wants to do. He has one philosophy in his mind which is called- "No Philosophy" or rather I would say, "Who cares " kind of attitude.
2. Be Gentleman and edit your work. Re-edit it, and show to the world that you are more gentle then anybody around.

Whichever approach you choose depends on you and you alone.

Most of the times, I use the first approach and one good example of that is all my posts in the blog. You can find loads of mistake and loads of grammatical errors simply because I do not want to think and edit the work. I just put my thoughts because thoughts are like stream of water. It flows continuously, it has no end. Once you stop it, it will not flow. It will be jammed in your mind. It then has to be again find its own way.


It will try to find its own way but you are stopping it to show its way. The thoughts should flow continuously and should give pleasure to those who watch. !

Hired and Fired

In the dynamic world, everything changes in the flick of the seconds. The story will never end until you are alive. Hear a very good news to those ears would take it more pleasantly, sooner Mybheja is going to be fired because the company is having a layoff soon.

What a good news to those ears which were desperate to listen something unpleasant from my side. Life is just like this, it is never stable. Nothing is secure in this planet. When I thought, there would be something secure and stable. The entire organizational structure is going to be changed.

For those who think I am the luck one, please be proud and happy than ever after. For those who think I am now the unlucky one, Thank you very much for the concern and I hope the same does not apply in your life.

World is not the end for your worries. I am writing this and at the same time laughing watching my faces on the mirror thinking that, it is now time to go back home?

I hope there is enough to survive back in the country. Although, the world is moving in faster lane and changes are showing greater impact on personal and corporate world. Life does not end here.





Happiness should be shared with every one but the sadness has to be remained with you and you alone. The reason of keeping the sadness in your life, is because it will teach you the lessons.

Well, Apple is very sweet just like the Natural apple. It is crispy and it has great look and feel. Similarly, the vision of Apple to make any product lies with the same notion.

History can teach us the good lesson. For example, Apple Macintosh PC then Apple Mac, then Apple notebook, then Apple thin notebook and Now they are making Apple netbook. The concept of developing Apple netbook is really good. Simply because, the next generation is heading towards the advancement of the Internet.

"Whatever we do, whatever we feel and whatever we share is on the Internet."

Netbook will surely give rise to new types of product. Again, As Steve has pointed out. It is the fight with the software and not with the hardware. Hardware will not any difference because of taste of humans.

Some people like thin notebook and some do not like notebook at all, may be Desktop.

The cost has dramatically gone down over the year of the hardware and we can get faster performance with cheaper cost.

However, the point now lies on who is going towards which direction ? Apple from the selling computers are selling mobile phones. Microsoft from selling Windows have now a days, closed there windows for some reason.

And they have new door of the business of buying companies like Yahoo or in fact bidding for them.

Google App Engine provides Android for the mobile phones. Therefore, the whole product which used to be huge in older days is getting smaller and smaller.

There was once a vision during my childhood days when there was no mobile phones existing. There was no big companies and there was no mobile technology much discussed.

The vision was that, when I will grow young, I will watch a "music video on my hand and in very small device". Today, when I can really do that, I think My vision was not alone but somebody also had the same vision as I do.

Now, In the same race of thinking the one who can read what others are thinking on him (company) will always win. Let us see who wins the race in next 5 years.
