Your professor is your guide, mentor and friend. He is your only guru who will give you and your work, a nice ride. He will take care of your research and evaluate your work every time. Alright, let me stop writing nice words about professors. They are busiest people in the world.
Some even claim to be too busy when they are not. Therefore, you should understand that they do not have enough time for your research. However, they will be extremely happy when you will show them results. They really love results.
By the way, do not forget to give them credit in each and every work you perform. Even if they have no time and energy to provide you any 'input' for your work, you just have to 'add their names in publication and other results'. So, keep this in mind that you must credit them for no reason. Not all the professor(s) are 'spin head', some of them are extremely good and they provide good evaluation of your work.
Alright! My essay on 'how to impress'; let us say, there are few points you should take into account.
1. Always show more than you really do: This simply means to present yourself as an active student even if you remain passive at your workplace.
2. Always 'butter' them: By 'buttering', you can get close to your professors. Try to hang-out with them, play games and visit public places; become more personal towards them. The more personal friend you become; there is better chance that you will get positive treatment at your work place.
3. Lie more: Yes, the more you lie to your professor the better impact you will have on them. If they will give you some work and you are not ready yet to complete it; just lie and say that you are sick or something.
4. Print more material: Print lot of references and put it in your work table. When professor visits at your workplace( at rare occasion they will eventually) show to them that you are working extremely hard to solve your research problem.
5. Make Library: This is similar to point 4. Get books from library and arrange at your shelve. This will show that you are busy reading lot of books.
Now, you are ready to impress your professor! Good luck!

3 step process to write a damn good Novel
It is always good habit to admire somebody and be adorable. One of the good thing that encourages people to do which they are good at.
I was thrilled and little smile popped up in my face when I saw a comment at the Paulo's blog. Most of the times I put comments on his blog since there are many active bloggers or writers.
It is not to attract the large group of audience but just to share point of view among large group of people. Well, this is way life works. It is a good practice to be in such a group which can have great ideas and thoughts.
Thank you to those who think what I have been doing is good. It always encourages me to work hard and come up with something very beautiful at the end. Currently I am thinking on writing a book. Well, I do not yet know what would be the book and I do not want to disclose at this moment the details.
As In one of my post at Paulo's blog where Paulo has asked his Readers to post a Resolution for the year 09, I have one list which is to complete this project, of writing a book.
Yesterday, I completed reading a book "How to write a damn good Novel-Vol I" by James Frey. It is one of the Master Piece. There are several techniques and methods which a Novelist can use to write his own book.
The book is written in simple tone and text flow is very smooth. But I was amazed by my own abilities of reading that book in a day?. I think I am slowly improving on Reading. May be it will help me to get good grades later when I will give and exam for "English tests".
Yesterday, I also came of with some idea that how a writer could write a book while I visited some web pages. To write a Novel is very difficult thing, and many of the great writers or genius and for them too it is most difficult. It requires loads of effort and dedications. Imagine a situation where you have to sit alone and write- separate from friends, family and every body around. You are sitting with your typewriter (Well, Usually Nobody has typewriter Now a days, but Yeah with your computer and Word Processor program). Many of those who have tried to write a Novel has not completed or given up in the middle of the journey.
Well, If I have say, then I would say that-"Nothing is easy in life". Everything is well up to us to make them easy as the way we want them to.
I like the idea of writing a Novel where following approach are suitable.
1) First write a bad Novel.
This means, Write without stopping yourself. Just put your hands to the keyboards and type all your thoughts on your Word document. Do it every day, till the time you finish your work. Think of such writing as flow of your thoughts on the paper. Do not think anything else. Do not assume that, you are writing and your text structure or your sentence composition or your vocabulary or your diction, grammar are not correct. Even though you are Native English Speaker, you will have those mistakes in your paper. Just sit and write without any hesitation and without any worry.
2) Focus on completion.
If you are human and if you can think and if you have promised something to yourself then give your life to fulfill it.
This implies, you should be man of your words. Those who do not commit to what they speak or do or say, are not humans in my dictionary.
Therefore, Complete on what you have committed to yourself. There is no point to prove to anyone except yourself. If you can prove to yourself that you are good at what you are doing then you are the Master of all. No Master and No Great People will tell you this. This is one of the greatest advice that I am giving you. Just take it for granted. And Think !!!
3) Start writing (Re-Write) your Novel
Now After completion of your bad Novel, Re-write your Novel. This is your Novel which is going to be fresh and which you should consider for publication. Be serious on this Novel. For this Novel focus on timings, prepare Plot, Scene and Speech carefully. This will take time. Your bad Novel was completed in very short period of time and you should take the reference of your bad Novel to write a good Novel. This Novel is going to be good. You know that you have already written a Novel before in very short period of time and Now you should focus on writing your good Novel. Once you are re-writing or Starting this Novel now, you will have an idea about how your Novel will be. The text you need are already there in your bad Novel so you do not have to worry about them. Just Start fresh with proper timings, planning, plot, speech, flow, text construction so on and so forth.
This is the 3 step process which I am giving to you all to write a Novel. Let us see, if it is really helpful or not. I am trying this three step process and I hope you will like it as well.
Have a Good Week-days !

Ladder
A surprise in the early morning with the music of bhajans and "hare rama hare krishna" just after coming from the work. It was then pleasant to listen to the song from the movie called "ugly and pagli". You can download the song and listen to it. http://www.songs.pk/indian/ugly_aur_pagli.html
The song is "Yaad Teri Aaye Jaaye", the lyrics of song is absolutely nice and brilliant. A good song or good movie can make your mood brilliant or can change it very quickly. There are times when we do not feel good and feel very bad but all those moments are just reminding that we are becoming stronger.
Life is a process of living in very fine and brilliant way with smile on face despite you may feel bad inside you. It is like a ladder. The every step you take, you have to put an effort to climb the ladder. The next step is much more difficult than the earlier one. Every step will take you to one step closer to the destination. It is in search of the final step you have to climb all our steps. Last step is the final step that will take us home. The very first step starts from our childhood when we are born and then we slowly start climbing the ladder of life.
It is just a simple step that we take makes our life easier to climb the next one and so on. We are always worried about our next step but when we are worried about next step it will gives us clear picture and our mind will then get prepared for it. It is like taking a practice session before going to real match. It is good to worry and make yourself stress full with all the tension of next very step. But too much is not good and one should not over do it.
I went yesterday, to the police station it was funny story again. I saw people as we see every where around but one thing one very important that I noticed. There was one man who had two kids and they were wearing the same dress besides that also one wanted to sit in one side of his father and the next kid also wanted to sit in the same corner where the father was sitting. Both the kids wanted the same place to occupy but later father decided that one should sit just left of him and next kid on right of him. The kid has to agree on it and later they agreed. I thought there is no difference between the kids from any where in the world. They are the same. They want the same thing. The love of father and in equal proportion. They both wanted fight for the same place but one has to compromise to agree on the being comfortable to themselves.
As the government work is slow, it was slow here too. I had to wait for couple of hours before I get my number. I used to think that the government organization of developing nations are slow but now I have to change the idea and think that it is same every where. They get lower wages and they act slowly in response to lower wages. It is the simple fact. The progress of any country is determined by their governmental organizations and it shows why we are still lacking behind.
The services we are using and the facilities that we getting can be improved so much so quickly that one day we could put some device and fly from one place to next just like that but it is not possible due to slow working of government all around the world. Human mind works faster than any machine humans have made ever. If it can work faster then let us feel the experience of doing it faster all most everything.
Rest is rest,,, and it always feels good when some body appreciates your work or give comment on the mistakes you commit during your day. Good is good and bad is never worse becasuse bad will teach you how to make it good.
Keep smiling. "Nothing in life is easy, you have to make it easy in your own ways... write your own script so that one day when you get old you can tell stories to your grandchildren "

Missing dot's.
I got a good comment on my previous article stating that their are lots of ifs and buts why only ifs and buts, well responding to my readers point of view I would say that-it is because their are lots of ifs and buts in our own life, every decision we make and every decision we take is based on ifs and buts.
Take an example of waking up in early morning, either I should wake up or i should sleep more. Now after one wakes up then you decide to do your morning activities either I should do my morning activities or I should take my morning coffee this is why their are lots of ifs and buts in that previous article. Here I am not criticizing my dear reader but i am supporting his point of view and trying to defend, and convince him at the same time.
Now, Let me jump to todays interesting topic of learning Finnish in 3 minutes. I am just a newbie in the language of this country, and I would like to make an apology before teaching you Finnish that I am using English Keyboard so please do not use it for serious purposes, their will be missing dots . One special form of language where you have to puts dots in characters like a, o, etc.
Let's start with basic-
add dots in last two a's
Hyvaa - Good
Hyvaa Huomenta - Good + Morning
Add Hyvaa and dots in last two a's in these words such as,
Paivaa- Day
iltaa - Evening
amulla- morning
illalla- evening
yota - night (dots in o and a)
One of the most important word in Finnish is (Kiitos-Thank you)
paljon ! Ole hyva /Ei kesta
a lot you're welcome/ Not to mention.
Anteeksi, en ymmarra (dots in both a's). En(I don't) puhu(speak) suomea(Finnish)
Now, lets jump to hi and hello-
Mita(add dots in a)Kuuluu ?
How are you ?
samoin- same
anteeksi-sorry
ei se mitaan(puts the dots in a's)-I apologies
If you wish to say NO(Ei, En, Em) these are used depending upon the verbs used in Finnish.
viikonloppua- holiday
lomaa-christmas
joulua-summer
One of the basic question when you arrive to Finland in the Helsinki airport and somebody may ask you that
Minka(add dots in a) maalainen sina(add dots in a) olet ? that means-
Of which nationality are you ?
Olen suomalainen (Finnish)
amerikkalainen(American)
carry on and add "lainen" at the end of name of the countries. But their are some exception to this.
Do remember to say that if you are not Finnish then tell,
Oletko sina(add dots in a) suomalainen ?
Are you finnish ?
Joo, olen- Yes I am
En ole suomalainen- No I am not Finnish.
Olen italialainen- I am italian.
Now, Some more basics- Kuka sina(add dot's in a) olet ? which means who are you ?
Mina(add dots in a) olen mybheja. (I am mybheja)
One of the important word for both male and female is "han" it means both "he/she". This is one of my favorite. I like it because even two boys can marry in this country and that is legal. No proudly girls anymore !
Let's now learn some numbers-(Numerot)
yksi-one
kaksi-two
kolme-three
nelja(dot's in a)-four
viisi-five
kuusi-six
seitseman(dots in a)-seven
kahdeksan-eight
yhdeksan(dots in a)-nine
kymmenen-ten
yksi+toisa-eleven
Now add toista in those above numbers. Let's say you have to multiply(kerta) two numbers.
seven(seitseman) * seven(seisteman)= fourteen(neljatoista) and so on...
20= kaksikymmenta (add dot's in a)
27=kaksikymmentaseitseman (add dot's in a)
and add "kymmenta" at the end and so on.
These are some basic Finnish language, which are not enough but these will make you a bit comfortable when you come to visit in Finland for the first time and you do not have to be embarrassed like me. When I came here for the first time, I asked something with an old man and he did not replied anything. I was shocked and I thought well, It may be because either he is deaf or I am stupid. But later I came to realize that if Finnish people do not know anything they won't speak.
"you will succeed in every way, if you know what to say."
It is very fascinating and interesting to be here in Finland. If you are human-you must at least visit this country once in your life time because, here lives a nature god. I will talk about this later in much more detail. Now, Some of vulgar words also coming up which you will never forget. The missing dot's in the world is here. You need to have heart and courage to find it.

Guru
Source: The Kathmandu Post
Posted on: 2007-11-20 11:01:36
Prince or commoner, rich or poor, every individual who wishes to get empowered and enlightened benefits greatly from the guidance of an able guru. Even gods have sought out gurus for themselves. Lord Krishna's guru was Sandipanirishi. When Swami Vivekananda first visited Ramakrishna Paramahansa he asked: "I have read the Bhagavad-Gita and other scriptures several times, I lecture and give discourses on the Gita and Ramayana. Do I still need a guru?" Ramakrishna didn't reply to Vivekananda's question. After a few days Ramakrishna called upon Vivekananda and handed him a parcel to be delivered at a nearby village that could be reached in a few hours by a boat.
The boat and sailor would be ready the next morning. All he needed to do was to go to the village and deliver the parcel to the designated person. Vivekananda agreed and decided to start early. He found the sailor ready with his boat. Suddenly, upon sitting in the boat, Vivekananda realized that he didn't know the road to the village. He inquired of the sailor who had no clue, either. Vivekananda decided to go back to his guru to ask him the shortest way to the village. Upon this Ramakrishna said, "Narendra, this is my reply to the question you asked me when we met the first time: Today, you have the medium (the boat), you have the resource (the sailor), you have the road (the sea), you know what to do (deliver the parcel) and you also know where to go but you don't know the way. Likewise, you have read all the scriptures, and you can conduct wonderful discourses on them. However, to realize the wisdom of scriptures one needs a guru, someone who has already traversed that path so that he can guide you through the journey and encourage you to not give up."
In Sanskrit, 'gu' is one who dispels and 'ru' means darkness. Every individual who wishes to rise above his existing levels needs a lighthouse, a guiding star to guide him on the journey of life, which can help by dispelling darkness at every step. Lord Swaminarayan ordained Sikshapatri, containing 212 conventions of code of conduct for every human being. One of the points reads: "Even the most learned of men will become morally declined if he is not involved in devotion to God and in good acquaintance."
Many seers have made various suggestions on how to embark on the spiritual path according to their perceived wisdom. Is there a universally accepted spiritual definition? How should one lead one's life which balances both the spiritual and the material? To understand all this and choose the right path for a balanced life of duty, responsibility, love, detachment and striving for higher consciousness, you need the grace and guidance of a spiritual master. As the saying goes "When the disciple is ready the Master arrives." Like a lone ship sailing in turbulent waters hunts for a safe harbor for anchorage, similarly, one has to make constant efforts in the journey of his life to find a true guru, a harbor against all storms.
