Review for "Eleven minutes" to Paulo Coelho

As per my resolution this year,
I promised to finish one of the book written by you, "Eleven minutes".
Yesterday, I finished the book and the story of prostitute, "Maria".

****************************************************
Below is my review for your work "Eleven minutes"
****************************************************
Well done, the book is written in very social context where life of an ordinary human being is conceptualized. Especially, the sex workers in Europe and their living condition. There are many places where you have tried to show the real picture and difference between sex and sacred sex. These two are completly two different elements in human life.

Maria chose a life she wanted, she wanted to show her parents that she could live independent and at the same time she also wanted to be loved. (Fantasy world and get a love of her life), she was driven my sense of passion for material world which took her to brothel.

Very interestingly written and well-researched on the topic of prostitution. Despite in some places, same stuffs were repeated like (orgasm, money, job etc) and it was little difficult to understand why she/Maria could not choose to go back and live her life in Brazil ? If she wanted she could have easily gone back but why not? But again as you mentioned in the book, she was looking for adventure and so on.
Anyways, Good work and I will give you my rating for the book-
Rating: 4/5
**************************************************

There are couple of things, that popped out in my mind-

1. I am predicting that hopefully, you will be awarded with "Nobel Prize in Literature" during your lifetime or maybe after that.

2. Keep up your good work and all the best in your future projects.

God bless you !

and

God bless you all !

You belong to me

You belong to me

See The Pyramids
Along the Nile
Watch the sun rise
On a tropic isle
Just remember darling
All the while
You belong to me...

See the market place
In old Algiers
Send me photographs
And souvenirs
Just remember
'Til your dream appears
You belong to me....

I'll be so alone
Without you
Maybe
You'll be lonesome, too
Maybe
You'll be lonesome too
And blue

Fly the ocean
In a silver plane
See the jungle
When its wet with rains
Just remember
Till you're home again
Or until I come home to you
You belong to me...

Do you believe in Prayers?

As I said, I will get back on this issue,

Here is what I think ... Now wait,

This is so funny, why on earth my opinions would ever count ? Why should anyone care ?

Many of us from top to bottom have given similar answers, I was just browsing all your responses. (Please do not get mad on me.)

"I believe....

or

"I do not believe...

This is so funny, what is your believe and not believe has got to do with that entity which even does not exits in real form?

You pray, you shout and you cry all of these are normal human sufferings. Most of the times you pray simply because you are not happy or you want something in your life or may be you have developed a habit of praying for good. But again,

Why are you following the tradition of forefathers? What it has got to do with trust of God or no God?

We live in world where everything is temporary, there is nothing immortal. Even the existence of the place where we are living is bound to get destroyed oneday. (Do not get afraid)

Let me give you one simple example,

Mr. A is very bad man and he has decided to kill Mr.B for some reason. Mr. A has put gun in the head of Mr. B and he is soon going to shoot him. Mr. B is very religious man and he started praying. Now, do you think some 'religious energy' will avoid the incident not to happen?

What is the final result of this event?

Does your prayer helped?

The result was Mr. B was shot and he is no more in this world.

Either you pray or not pray, it does not matter. Only thing that matters is your devotion and dedication to something in life and with nature.

Please do not get mad, I am not for or against the Praying.

Well, I must stop now. Maybe I have to quit my day today.

For those who like praying,

Happy praying and God blesses you !

A month short?

In the news story “Year 2065 could be a month short?” (March 13, Page 1), the sentence, "But now, the government is confused by its own decision…" says a lot about our government's incapacity. The country is not going to be stable by changing the dates on the calendar or the names of institutions. I beg all politicians to stop pretending that they are doing something by making such headlines. Instead they should be focusing their efforts on things like developing hydropower project, revising old treaties and providing the citizens with basic necessities like food, water and electricity.

"Near you"

Who cares if I am a human or animal?
Who cares if I am acting as a normal human being?

I think we should just travel and learn
But again, I am afraid with the economical trouble.

Life is to move on and on
Life is to see new places and people

Life is full of excitement and sorrow
Life teaches us simplest of lesson to remember

Life gives you advice to see new faces all around
Whoever she is, she looks beautiful and bright

Is this my passion for her or
Is it my passion of myself?

Whoever she is and whatever it takes,
I think I am feeling sense of togetherness

With you beside and me deep inside my thoughts
Can we give it to those in need?

Close your eyes and see who it is?
If you cannot see me, then I was never yours

If you can only see me, then I am yours.
Listen to yourself and tell me if it is true .

Whoever it is and whatever it takes we will do.
We will do, to learn from ourselves and to teach others what to do.

I thought I am writing a poem but it might look really stupid
I do not care as long as it gives meaning to what I think

All the desires are left unfulfilled
Until I see you with my eyes wide open

Sometimes the greatest journey is the distance between us.
But all these can be fulfilled once you desire of me near you.

As long as one is expressing the way they feel poetically in their own words that can never be wrong. In my opinion people need to learn how to accept others instead of wanting them to be who they want them to be.
As long as we are being who we really are and share our hearts that is all that really matters."

I will be born in 2039

Welcome, Dear Readers- Please do not get surprised, with the title of this column. I am no God, neither Spiritual Guru, nor Religious teacher or saint. I am just like you, Human being.

I am not born but wait a moment-do not get to the conclusion. You might be wondering, if this person is not born who wrote this column? What is that he is trying to prove? Well, there is nothing that author wants to prove or claim. It is just a simple joke.

Today, looking at the Nations situation- I think I will be born in 2039. Now this is not the entire story, with doom of Economy (Global, National or Regional) there is no point in living a life of jeopardy. We have seen the country ruled by Kings (Razas and Maharazas), We also have seen so called “Democracy” and currently, “Federal Democratic System” and “…” in near future. There is no change in creation of Jobs, Security, Electricity, Economy and Transportation to name few. I do not blame our beloved Prime Ministers neither I blame all the top-executive Politicians; I blame myself; because I know I will be born in 2039.

Yesterday, I heard the news where, a young man who was just seventeen years old kills reportedly fifteen and then himself at a school in Germany. A friend of his told police today, that he was bullied by class mates, teachers for many years. When he wanted to speak to them (Teachers, friends, parents) no one listened to him. Personally, I feel what my friend Paul from Austria feels- The young Gunman was innocent simply because, no body listed to his anguish. The tragedy could have been avoidable if there was the presence of love in his life.

Children of today are treated like valueless and useless beings. The world depends on them and the future of the entire world is dependent on how we treat them today. This is a sad story and this is just the beginning- I think. As we can see everybody is busy in their own personal life and nobody wants to LISTEN to anybody, simply because we all have point to make and grow within the society. Then a quote popped into my tiny little brain which states, “Love is integral part in human life, without the sense of its presence no human wants to live life in despair.”

Let me get back to your questions, one very good friend of mine named Teemu, from Finland asked, “Santosh-when were you born in your country?” This is a good question, I thought- and before making my statement open, I visualized that- “We are in 2065, even ending it soon”. Then, I replied him back with the smile on my face stating-“I will be born in 2039.”

I hate exams, lectures and lessons
Will I ever get support of such a shine?

O lord, Are you listening !
My Prayers full of wishes for her
Will I feel love forever
That I would share with my bright side

O lord, Please give me this or that
Let the world be stable and Peace
Harmony, non-violence and dreamer's
Those should brighten, all light !

O Lord, I pray two time, three times
I know you hear me, most of the times

O Lord, Whoever you are
Whatever people call you

Quote of the day

"Those who search love will never get love because love wakes up with you, lives with you and dies with you."
-Mybheja

Question by Paulo Coelho's Blog Reader : Trish

Dear Mr. Santosh Kalwar,
I hate to be a bother, but could you please explain to me the meaning of your quote ‘Those who search love will never get love because love wakes up with you, lives with you and dies with you.’
Does this mean that those who are born without love (parents, siblings, relatives) or have not found love yet in terms of a life-long companion will never find it?

Dear Trish,
I am sorry if that quote gives other meaning to you, but Nobody is born without love. As I said, When you are born, it comes with you or love wakes up with you when you are awake, lives with you when you are living and dies with you when you are pronounced dead forever ! There is no difference whether a person has siblings or not. Please do not feel that when you are alone, you do not have love or you will not get love. Because, “Aloneness is the first lesson of the love.”
Let me elaborate,
Imagine A person lives his life only oneday. He wakes up and his full of energy(Social, Personal, Academic and many more). When you search something in your life, that could particulary mean- you “want” any object or entity or individual to be part of your life. When you want something unconditionally then there are chances that you might get it but when you think with some conditions then there are chances that you might not get what you are looking for.
I hope that answers about the quote. In case, it is hurtful or disappointing, I am Sorry and I will check it once again !
