Poor ideas

You will receive most when you will expect least.

Every religion should be in favor of humankind.

Coding is poetry and so am I.

Walk on the virgin land for fresh ideas.

If life is worth living for so is it worth for dying.

A dog barks for food but princess sleeps in good mood.

Those people, who hate you, envy your freedom.

Many things have been written and will be written for dream. Dreams are nothing but our unclear expectations.

A lonely life, a boring evening, and basket full of problems. She had burdens of weight to carry on her back. Help her.

A true man loves his enemies as much he loves his friends.

Life is a learning process until dying is processed.

Random thoughts/ideas

• I am not someone who is different from you but I am in you.

• Every problem comes with a baggage of solutions.

• Where art thy love in a smoke of smokeless cigarette?

• There are only two buttons in our consciousness, it wakes up or sleep forever.

• Human is a suffered mind but an enlightened soul.

• Sadness wakes up as I sleep but she never sleeps when I wake up.

• Every mistake committed is a learning opportunity.

• We have been evolved from know thyself to show thyself.

• Friendship is selfless love, care, respect, and honors not a profitable opportunity.

• She never encoded her decoded love instead, she says, “I am not wrong.”

• Do not expect your life to be only bed of roses; learn also to walk on thorns.

• Everything has to end; even full toothpaste ends.

• If I were to die today, I would have lived fully only for today.

About Religion

In this very short essay, I will try to define what religion is. I do not know what religion is. I am trying to interpret the message linguistically. Let us imagine that, "reli+gion=religion". The dissection of these two terms should mean something. The suffix is 'gion' that might mean the path of guiding principles. Let us assume that it means some path and the doorway of that path. In short, religion is a path towards greater morals and greater life.
Back in the Stone Age, people were very simple. They knew not the tips and tricks of today's society. Everybody was in win-win situation. Therefore, some wise intellectuals among those communities and groups formed some morals based on truth. They might have given such morals the name of religion. As part of our evolutionary process, the younger generation became more intellectual and the older generation became outdated. The wide range of gap between intellectuals of future seeking men march on to form group and the other outdated group formed another group. If we would imagine that these two groups became two different religions then we can see present generation with lots of religion.
Every religion should be in the favor of humanity. If any religion is not in the favor of humanity then that religion will collapse automatically. As news and media bombard us, there are many debate and crap stories about religion. We talk a lot about Hindu, Christian, Jews, and Muslim religion. It is not the matter of faith or believes to seek or suggest which religion is better or worse but it is the matter of our sorting out intolerant behavior with tolerance.
The core difference between two highs does not make one low. Each and everything that we do, think and perform is based on one religion or another. Our daily habit is a religion. Our daily behavior is another religion. Our daily lives of doing this and that could give rise to one religion. Religion is not only based on the virtue of God or gods. We cannot change anything if we cannot change our thinking. We need to re-think, re-consider, and re-evaluate the morals of our very religious societies.
Let us imagine that God is watching and he is supreme commander and chief of all the religions that we humans have created on this blue planet. Let us imagine that he is watching our daily activities, if by chance he would ever consider visiting this land. He would laugh-out-loud at our childish games as if a father laughs when child seeks for toys. Anyways, it does not matter what we do and what we think about religion because in his/her/it eyes, everything remains the same. God listens through the atomic door of love. We just need to keep that door open with love. Otherwise, we might just kill each other someday for absolutely nothing. Stop fighting and start loving.

Bhaigiri

I am not majoring in Democracy and Social science but I would like to provide you some pointers on why democracy is not suitable in our country. First democracy has been established in the notion of free society, freedom, and liberty. Everybody has rights to say and do good deeds under the law. It has many advantages but each advantage also comes along with disadvantages. When there is more number of parties and everyone is willing to show that they are the best ones, it becomes extremely difficult for ordinary people to judge that one is best for us. We choose Maoist party but what happen to them. They seem to fall and rise and they are not stable enough in their own rights. Similarly, the other parties are not very trustful. In our Nepalese society, an autocratic rule works well. Now, I can see some eyebrows raised. This is because under one rule and regime, it would be easy to dictate and govern people.

Frog and toads

In a small pond, there lived a frog and thousand of toads. The frog was the leader of all the toads and whatever the frog decides, everyone obeyed. Today, we live in the similar situation. The frogs are the politicians and the toads are all public. All the public obeys to what frog decides and says. This is not how democracy works. In democracy, a person has power to choose and decide who their politicians would be.

While reading the recent debate on Terry Jones and burning of Koran (the holy book of Allah), I think there is a big frog running the business and whatever they are saying or doing is carefully obeyed or listened by the general public.

The religion is very sensitive issue to touch and talk about. Everybody has some religion. Everyone follows one religion or another. Nevertheless, the question is not what religious beliefs or faith you are indulging yourself into; the question is why big fat politicians have to mull these issues. The ‘Islamophobia’ and ‘Chrisitianophobia’ is running the entire show on this earth.

It is extremely difficult to understand why these phobias affect deep in our society and culture. When someone is burning something; let them burn. Do not be stupid! In the end, everything will be burned and there will be nothing remaining. If someone does not understand, your religion of their own religion then let them not understand. We humans are like child asking chocolates from the God. The God is curiously watching over our actions. He knows that these humans that are fighting over smaller things like this; are not moving towards greater path. He knows that these humans are like a small babies crying for a toy or just trying to get his/her/it attention.

The ordinary public are puppets of worthless news. Do not change your actions based on what these preachers suggest you to do. Be firm on your action and do not easily believe what they say. These people are playing a bigger game that is very hard to understand by an average mind. An average mind cannot easily grasp the fact that there might just be a religious fight for forthcoming World War III.

What is sex?

What is sex?
An unknown pleasure
Or, known ecstasy
Love or lust
Life or death
Sex or mixture of lusty nights
And dirty talks deeds
A sin
Or, lifelong lasting experiences

What is sex?
Long-term relationships
Commitment, sacrifice, doubts
Fear, lie, or intermingling of
Two body and two souls
Mingling of two thoughts
Into one single thoughts
For the common goal

How to Impress Your Professor?

Your professor is your guide, mentor and friend. He is your only guru who will give you and your work, a nice ride. He will take care of your research and evaluate your work every time. Alright, let me stop writing nice words about professors. They are busiest people in the world.
Some even claim to be too busy when they are not. Therefore, you should understand that they do not have enough time for your research. However, they will be extremely happy when you will show them results. They really love results.
By the way, do not forget to give them credit in each and every work you perform. Even if they have no time and energy to provide you any 'input' for your work, you just have to 'add their names in publication and other results'. So, keep this in mind that you must credit them for no reason. Not all the professor(s) are 'spin head', some of them are extremely good and they provide good evaluation of your work.
Alright! My essay on 'how to impress'; let us say, there are few points you should take into account.
1. Always show more than you really do: This simply means to present yourself as an active student even if you remain passive at your workplace.
2. Always 'butter' them: By 'buttering', you can get close to your professors. Try to hang-out with them, play games and visit public places; become more personal towards them. The more personal friend you become; there is better chance that you will get positive treatment at your work place.
3. Lie more: Yes, the more you lie to your professor the better impact you will have on them. If they will give you some work and you are not ready yet to complete it; just lie and say that you are sick or something.
4. Print more material: Print lot of references and put it in your work table. When professor visits at your workplace( at rare occasion they will eventually) show to them that you are working extremely hard to solve your research problem.
5. Make Library: This is similar to point 4. Get books from library and arrange at your shelve. This will show that you are busy reading lot of books.
Now, you are ready to impress your professor! Good luck!

·         Life is music without the end.
·         If you can go beyond, an illusion of love, you will discover the universe is relative, to your heart.
·         My friends are boring but they are shoring.
·         Convert your hate into love; convert your anger into smile; convert your sorrows into happiness and your life will converted into death.
·         Feel the music in your heart and let it guide you and your mere talks.
·         Poetry is experiment with words.
·         I may not remember what I say, but I know what I have to say. Hence, let us say. Not for shake of saying but for shake of feeling, your say.
·         There is nothing beyond death but there is everything before it.
·         I am very grateful for your kindness, patience and love so let's share our goodness in one and all.
·         The truth about life and lie about life is not measured by others but by your intuition which never lies.
O holy Sunday, let your darkness not come along my way. Let her nurture internal and external world, as I start my personal day.
·         What would you do with lasting remembrance? Today, you are singing your song and tomorrow, someone else will sing his/her song.
·         An alternative to love is not hate but patience.
·         Around the world there are millions suffering and don't brood over your personal suffering.
·         Accept what comes in your life, be good and kind, the world in which we live, and seems to be ruthless and blind.
·         Everything is unpredictable, except your goodness.
·         There is fun nowhere and everywhere.

Why Finland?

First and foremost, I am grateful to the owner and CEO of this website who have given me an opportunity to jot downs few pointers for those who have decided to pursue academic career in the country of ‘fifty thousand lakes’. Well, welcome!

My article is entitled, “Why Finland?” Despite so many countries and  highly acclaimed professional institution in the world, you have decided to visit Finland (Tervetuloa—welcome in Finnish).

There are always two sides of the coin. Let me discuss some positive side of visiting Finland. In my opinion, you have made very good choice simply because there is no hurdle for paying tution fee.  While studying many students find extremely difficult to maintain work and life balance and when you get free education then you do not feel too much burden in your shoulder.

If you are a person who likes the Nature, then you are far more then welcome. You will defintely love this place. An extreme showcase of the Nature is displayed only in the Finland. I can rest assure you that if you haven’t found the God yet, you will discover only in Finland.

The ‘beautiful lakes’ and the ‘silence’ are two great combinations. Early morning, when the sun rises from the East and the light of the sun falls in the Finnish lakes, it feels as if you are living in the heaven while you are on the earth.

Okay, I may sound too poetic now. Let me tell you some bitter facts. As a International student, don’t expect too much. It is not an easy task to visit foreign country and study. However, it is good practice and every one highly recommends it nowadays. One must share the diverse cultural background and the experience which are vital for human existence. One simple fact is about jobs. It is not easy as it is not easy in ecomonically downtrodden soceity. Today, each and every country is facing this problem and Finland is no different. Many Finns are having difficulties to get back to work so don’t expect too quickly to get a highly qualified jobs. If you are lucky then you may discover some ‘orthodox jobs’ such as cleaning and paper delivery among others.

Let me come back to the topic, so you have chosen to visit this beautiful and peaceful land. Let us do some fact check, very recently the Newsweek magazine rated Finland as the number one country in the world.  Among 100 countries around the globe, the magazine analyzed and declared that Finland is the best. Many factors were taken into account for such analysis such as quality of life, quantity of life, ‘economic dynamism’, ‘political environment’, ‘education’ and ‘healthcare’. But don’t be baffled by what newspaper and magazine has to say. These days they print whatever they want. This doesn’t mean that I am suspecting their ranking, this simply means that you should better come and experience for yourself. There are lots of problems created by humans for the humans and the solutions are dew yet.

The problems of discrimination, racial problems and ‘internal or external conflict’ are everywhere. The least you may experience in some places and more; in another. If you are popping up from Asian Sub continent(Nepal, India, Bangaladesh, Srilanka etc) then please do your homework for great ‘cultural shock’. If you happen to visit from Europe then probably, you may experience some extremes but with minor changes in the climate among other things. If you are visiting from America and similar places, then you may discover lot of similarities with your own country.

Finland is riding high not only world’s number one country but also on ‘the planet's best food security’ country. The food is good. In Finland, don’t forget to experience Finnish food mostly potatoes (Peruna in Finnish).

Alright, Let’s come back again to topic, “why Finland?” There are lot of good things you may do and you should do while you are in Finland and there are lot of bad things you got to know before coming to Finland. Therefore, I recommend you should use ‘Google brother’; it knows lot of things which we don’t know, in our era of the ‘digital change’.

Learn about your instituion; your professor; your visiting city and develop habit of reading.  Once you have done quality background check then surely you will encounter lesser suprises. Otherwise, it would be extremely difficult to visit any places or country. And do not forget to share your expriences with friends and family. With social media on rise, I don’t have to tell this anymore.

The Bill gates vision for ‘information at fingertips’ has come alive. Each one of has information at our fingertips but quality information can only be found at rare places. Hence,  the most important lessons for student like you and me; BE TRUTHFUL.

In summary, its your choice and nobody has rights to judge on your personal choice. Not even the God/gods! If you have chosen to visit/study/live in the Finland then there are lot of empty places here to be filled. Let me share with you what one professor used to say while, I was in my school. “You will never know what you are doing until and unless you have done it.” Therefore, write your own story from Finland.

They say

They say that I was born today
and I don’t know what that means.
They say that I have to go school
and I don’t know what would I do.
They say that I have to earn money
and I don’t know what should I do.
They say many things
and I don’t know anythings.

Maybe life is puzzle unsolved.
Maybe life is a rollercoaster ride
between love and hatred.
Maybe life is dream within a dream.
But I still don’t know
Where will it all lead
Anyways, I just have to live each
and every day and do what they
say.

Maybe I just have to think
What they think was always right
and do not interefere their insights.
As we all know they are the ones
Who create rules and we are
Ordinary people living on them.
Whatever they do affects entire
Humanity but they don’t know
how to play safe.

They say many things
and I don’t know if they misleading
us in some way.
Let this saddest song be sung
Near their corridor
So that they will find solutions
of all our problems, someday !

Should We Manipulate Our Dreams?

A comment on Should We Manipulate Our Dreams?

"Normal dreams are normally unpleasant."

Dear Sir,

I am so lazy to read after the first lines of what you have written here. Let me tell you why. First of all I can write 1000 pages of text on why "normal dreams are NOT normally unpleasant" and many of my contemporaries will do the same.

I am really sorry but I hope that I am not being offensive about your insights. I am also sorry for my poor delivery of English in this 'small comment box' I don't get paid for putting my ideas by NYTimes and I don't do re-writing. So, let me get back to the first statement on why normal dreams are NOT unpleasant.

Let us assume that Mr. A is a normal guy and he lives in normal world and he has normal life. The usage of word: 'normal' is simply pointing to an ordinary life. When Mr. A is normal guy then it is not necessary that he also lives normal life. Well, to some extent he is bounded to live and sustain normal life but it not a predicament that he must live a normal life.

Therefore, When Mr. A is not living normal life then
Mr. A can live either abnormal life or Mr. A can live an extraordinary life.

The point is: Not all normal dreams are unpleasant.

To clarify please think about this:

Mr. A lives normal life then he must either dream normally or abnormally. If he dreams normally then he has greater chance of being rather pleasant than unpleasant. I think this is simple mathematics. If he dreams abnormally then he has greater chance of being rather unpleasant than pleasant.

Whatever be the case, I do not agree that all normal dreams are normally unpleasant.

The reasons are:

1. Normal dreams are manifestation of everyday reality.
2. What we dream is either for our future or is about things happening in the present.
3. Our consciousness and unconsciousness theory are outdated which needs to be re-written.

Anyways, I clearly understand the point you guys are trying to make for 'manipulation of dreams' and I think this is very much possible. I know how...

Thank you for bearing these texts with me.

Defining Prosperity Down

A comment on Defining Prosperity Down

Dear Sir Paul,

Thank you very much for your information but this is not of any help.

I am sorry but please bear with me for few seconds. Personally, I agree much of what you have to say here. Yes, joblessness is growing. There are people who are 'thinking' on how to fetch a job. On the other hand, there are those who have low wage jobs.

True that politicians (either democrat or republican) put blind ears to much of job creation. It is also true that they are not only to blame.

The blame goes to rich and elite industry owners who were once responsible to create jobs and who once gave people jobs.

The underemployment rate is growing and it will grow in near future. We are responsible for developing 'who cares' society. Now, we have to face the consequences.

I think the 'economic distress' will be norm in the future society. It is better to pack bags and run towards developing world. All the jobs given are in the developing world. When Mr. A can do same work as Mr. B in low wages why to employ Mr. B? I think, the same idea is followed by most of this big fat industries nowadays.

I hope you will get this point. The point is very simple. The bottom line is jobs will decline if not taken righteous action.

Thank you
and
May God bless us !

Society needs to change

This is with reference to the article by Arun Gupto “Contraries & contradictions” (july 21). I first of all would like to thank the writer for jotting down such a good piece and bringing into light the disorder and senseless things happening in Nepal.

As pointed out by the writer, it is true that politicians say something and do something else but they are not only to be blamed. I would rather blame the society that we have developed. Until and unless we change our social values and practices, politicians alone won’t do and can’t do much for the country because they are also the product of the same society. In this light, people living in the society should be taught to be responsible for their own actions and  to be accountable to others while representing them.
Furthermore, Nepal needs visionary leaders. Only such leaders can do something for the developement of the country. The practice of anybody joining politics should be discoraged. Personally, I don’t think putting blame on politicians alone will have any effect in bringing change in the country.

Travelling

Life is a journey
and travelling is fun

you meet people and those
people are no different than you

there are amazing sights
and insights,

there are beauties which
cannot be described

you should open your heart
and feel the deepness
of undiscovered lands

you meet people
for a while
and then finally
you have to depart

as city is a lady
and she will seduce
you to stay with you

but you have to leave her alone
and move on

because yet another city is waiting
to welcome you my lord.
